When I started, I had the "Reign in Blood" album by Slayer going through my head, constantly. Now, I have the sound of rain, which is less regular, more fluid, etc, and so probably represents my sub/unconscious telling me that I'm awesomely better at this, more calm, more meditative while meditating. The words to your song captured me. Here's the deal, my response to them :) Fascinating. You have a way of accurately putting your thoughts to music that is wonderful. ~ Here's my deal: I'm a grandmom in America, near Baltimore. I have four amazing kids, and three little amazing grandkids. ~ The reason I am writing is that I remember being your age. I love teens and college kids because I remember the tension between having your whole life ahead, and trying to figure out what it's all about, all at the same time! It's so wondrous and scary. Also, there are temptations out there that can waylay a person for years. So, I'll never stop loving young people....! I have gone through the very same things. I'm not trying to write you b/c I'm weird, but just b/c I wish I could give you a tip that I wish people had given me. Hope you don't mind. Actually at your age, I didn't think about such huge ideas. But, fortunately, I started little by little, when I was 19. Anyway, the questions are huge, aren't they? I so applaud you with daring to ask, instead of getting your brain numb on video games, because daring to look is too scary. OK, well, anyway, I have a website that I think would be fascinating to you, it's a bunch of little videos of people who have had to face darkness and have come through to the other side......it's very wonderful. I have a lot in common with them, because we all have a story! So that's why I love to find out about people's stories! Anyway, the tip I offer is through this website.
